This place suits me perfectly, offering wi-fi, air conditioning, and board games. I fondly remember how the staff helped return my forgotten jewelry. They're always great. I can't wait to return next year!

It was perfectly clean, and the people were genuinely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable with a wide array of outstanding food on offer. The airport was 25 km away.

The breakfast with homemade omelets. Our room was not only stunning, but also neat with antique accessories and 4 poster bed, for example. The location was fantastic, near old town.
The hotel staff was not welcoming at all.

Couples seeking a spooky getaway
We loved being able to walk back to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing and even snagged some complimentary sherry to unwind.
It wasn't exactly cheap but the experience was still solid.

We stayed in an old house around the corner from the hotel (an annexe). The room was large, very comfortable and quiet with a pleasant outlook. Breakfast at the hotel was a short walk away - no problem in the sunshine. A good first night to our stay in usa.

Because this hotel is so central you can hear some traffic but this did not cause us a problem and did not keep us awake.

Perfect for a cozy getaway
Location is on point, super close to everything. Staff was friendly but had a weird moment with parking where I got a ticket because of a mix-up. The place was clean and comfy overall. Loved the little touches like cheese and wine in the afternoon. Just wish the parking info was clearer so I wouldn't have stressed over that!

Although the hotel building is several hundred years old, it was in extremely good condition and well maintained. It was fun just to stay in a hotel that old and with much history. All of the staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast was great. All attractions, stores, resturants, museums, etc. are within walking distance from the hotel.

Thanks for our stay at Salem Inn, despite a bit of a mix up at beginning with number of beds via room booking everything was sorted with an extra room (the honeymoon suite no less) at no extra cost! The rooms were spacious and luxurious and my wife and daughter had a lovely stay even if it was only for one night. Staff very accommodating and helpful especially when I left a battery charger at the hoptel and they are arranging to post it to my home address in UK. Breakfast was very tasty and good choices. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

I had such a wonderful stay! This place exceeded my previous experiences in salem with its charming, historic decor and the complimentary breakfast that offered fresh pastries and a cozy atmosphere. My room's whirlpool bath was a perfect way to unwind after exploring the city.
wifi connection was unstable at times.

The historic charm of the Salem Inn was good, and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. The mattress was on the firmer side, making it hard to get comfortable, and I encountered slow service during breakfast. A nice experience with room for improvement.

We've stayed here over the years when traveling through ne. Location is great to most Salem attractions, though it is best enjoye during October. Breakfast was as good as expected and the staff was courteous.
While the room was comfortable, the establishment itself is a bit tired and in my opinion could benefit from cleanup and refresh of the decor. Lots of mismatched furniture and unbalanced look to the decoration within the room and the inn in general.
